Objective

To create a 1 minute video documenting an important day/event in US History OR a historical figure.

Requirements

• Follow the techniques used in the PSA project tutorial to create your video in a similar style with moving still images. 

• Research an important day/event in history or a historical figure and write a 1-minute voiceover to use for the video.

• Options for events could be 911, Pearl Harbor, Landing on the Moon, SpaceX, etc. while options for people could be political figures, actors/actresses, musicians, inventors.

• Use one of the free text-to-voice AI generators linked here to create an AI generated voiceover.

• For this project, you will be utilizing the Fair Use Doctrine for education, which is a legal concept that allows you to use copyrighted material without permission, as long as you are adding or changing it, and utilizing it for educational purposes. You can use images from Google for this project only. You still should refer to the resources linked here to find appropriate royalty-free background music.

• Find all your still photos from Google, then use the Ken Burns effect to animate your images to your edited audio narration track

• Add an opening title screen to your video and a credit title at the end with this disclaimer: The images utilized in this video were sourced from Google Images, as per the Fair Use doctrine for educational. This video should never be exploited for commercial gain.

Objective

To create a 2-3 minute audio music track composed of multiple loops and beats of different instruments.

Design Requirements

• Experiment with techniques of pitch and sound effects using the Effects Rack, similar to those used in the Valley View project tutorial.

• Make sure all beats/instruments are on separate tracks.

• Make sure the song varies with an intro, main section, loop, main section, loop, and close.

• Online beats downloadable on LOOPERMAN.com, after creating a free account.

To create a “how to”/demonstration video that teaches how to practice the crossover dribble in basketball, incorporating multiple camera views.

Design Requirements

• Follow the techniques used in the tutorial for multicam editing

• Keep only the audio from the lavalier microphone and remove audio tracks recorded from other cameras 

• Use masking techniques described in the video tutorial

• Add a LUT to adjust the color temperature of the video

• Add a MOGRT (motion graphics template) title to the front/end of the video

• Add a music track fitting for the target audience and balance all audio tracks

• Experiment with video effects, transitions, and slow motion/speed and duration to enhance your final video

Objective

To create a 1 minute & 15 second to 2 minute video, utilizing captivating visuals of scenic landscapes and locations to captivate viewers and promote a destination.

Does NOT have to be exactly the same as my example.

Design Requirements

• Utilize previous knowledge of editing techniques.

• Adjust the volume levels appropriately to ensure a clear and balanced sound.

• Create a title overlay near the beginning, and animate with keyframes.

• Add a creative, consistent transition, other than a cut, throughout the video.

• Fade both the video/audio in to start the video and out to end the video.
